Prince George
to North Vancouver BC Rail Trip - 2003 We rode the rails for 4 days in this hy-rail from Prince George all the way down to Vancouver. You can see in the map below that we traveled through Quesnel, Williams Lake,
Lillooet, Whistler and then on to North Van. Each section of the trip had
its own unique scenery, topography and even temperature. Prince George is
relatively flat farm land. The scenery started to change dramatically as
we headed south through mountainous deserts, past glacial streams, green lakes
and snow capped mountains. As we approached North Vancouver the rails took
us along the blue coastal waters. |
